Post Graduate Diploma/Executive Diploma in Adolescent Health and Counseling mark a departure from the traditional individualistic therapeutic understanding of mental health and adopt a systemic framework of viewing Adolescents. The objective of the course is to increase knowledge of the physical, cognitive, emotional, and psychological changes that occur in adolescence; to strengthen their awareness of adolescent needs and concerns. This will also develop skills for dealing with adolescent-related issues and identify their function in life skills instruction and give adolescents preventative counselling.
