The main objective of the PGDM programme is to train the students to be competent managers and inculcate qualities required for effective leadership of organizations. Accordingly different methods of teaching appropriate to each course are used. Apart from the lecture sessions; group exercise, case studies, simulated games seminars and audiovisual presentations will also be used. Students are encouraged to analyze, anticipate and innovate by use of computers and library aids to prepare themselves for a challenging professional career

The Institute offers a full time Post Graduate programme on Business Management - (PGDM). The programme is designed to prepare the students for a wide variety of managerial positions.
The PGDM programme is spread over two academic years, divided into six trimesters. The first 4 trimesters consist of the core subjects pertaining to Management in general as well as some core specialization subjects. The 5th and 6th trimesters focus on in depth knowledge of the respective fields of specialization. Presentations, case studies. Group discussions, individual research papers, submissions, library research project work and quizzes from an integral part of the curriculum.
