The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two-year, full time, residential programme.The emphasis of the programme is to develop in the candidate the ability to translate theory into practice.This programme is now in its 25th year and has a number of successful alumni in senior positions across the industry.

-The Programme comprises of a foundation module followed by six trimesters spread over two academic years.
Year 1
The 1st year curriculum aims to strengthen the fundamentals in all areas of functional management and provides a holistic perspective of general management.
The programme commences even before the students arrive on the campus, in the form of pre-MBA study material sent to them. On arrival at the campus, there is a foundation module of two weeks with an objective to enable all participants attain the same level of understanding in the basic issues/concepts related to management. This is followed by three trimesters that constitute over 500 classroom sessions (each of 70 min duration) ensuring a through grounding in fundamentals, as well as building communication, computer and quantitative skills.
The students also develop various managerial traits through the ADMAP programme. A compulsory out-bound programme helps develop group dynamics and inter personal skills providing an opportunity for introspection in an environment away from the campus. Towards the end of the first year, students undertake a six-week socially relevant project under the aegis of Centre for DOCC (Development of Corporate Citizenship). Apart form these Gita Shibir, seminars, workshops, etc are also conducted.
Year 2
The second year specialisation provides inputs in the chosen area of specialisation and is customized to the student's career focus and industry requirements.
The three trimesters in the second year consist of over 400 classroom sessions geared towards an in-depth understanding of the respective fields of specialisation. The students undertake eight-week corporate projects with our industry partners during the second year.
