The Post Graduate Diploma in Wildlife management (PGDWM) Programme,
administered by the Department of Zoology with active collaboration of faculties from the Department of Zoology, Botany & Biotechnology, Gauhati University, is a professional interdisciplinary field based course of study in Wildlife Management, Wildlife conservation, Wildlife Ecology, Ornithology, Vertebrate species, wildlife habitat, Plant Taxonomy & Vegetation science etc. The programme seeks to respond to the changing requirements of the contemporary wildlife conservation and management by providing a more comprehensive grounding of wildlife management, ecology and
taxonomical reviews of wildlife.
