Postgraduate Certificate Programme in Business Management

XIMB launched the postgraduate certificate programme in 2005. It utilizes advances in videoconferencing and V-SAT technology to reach working executives across India. This technology enables classroom-like interactions between instructors and learners and between learners in different locations. This results in a highly interactive mode of learning that draws from the wealth of knowledge of the faculty and other resources of the institute and the diversity of learners spread across the country. Classes are scheduled at timings that are convenient for the working executive. Assignments and projects can be submitted online and are structured conveniently. The programme has a 10-day residential programme at the XIM campus at Bhubaneswar where intensive learning of certain components is facilitated.
Programme Design
The total duration of the programme is 12 months. It is divided into 3 terms of 4 months duration each. Twelve compulsory courses are offered during the programme. The entire programme is of one year duration, having 240 hours of live faculty lecture via V-SAT technology.

• Certification: The Institute awards the Postgraduate Certificate in Business Management to students who have successfully completed the entire course work and all academic requirements as mentioned in the Manual of Policies.

The Manual of Policies would be provided to those students who are admitted to the programme.
