The School of Biotechnology currently offers a Pre-Ph.D (Biotechnology) program which is almost unique in the country, the focus of the course is on the industrial implementation of the techniques developed in the field of Bio-technology. A lot of companies have started operating in the field of Biotechnology like food processing, pharmaceuticals etc. and the requirement of trained members is very large.
