The topics in Process Engineering in this course are covered essentially for interfaces with Mechanical Engineering.

It may be noticed that the topics in this course for piping engineering are essentially same as the Course PTCD-06. In the Course PTCD-07, these topics are covered to the extent that the expertise gained is adequate to move ahead with piping engineering. In return, the students benefit from the knowledge gained in a lot of Process Engineering topics as mentioned above so that they are no longer only 'mechanical' engineers. This course is also useful for Mechanical Engineers, who want to lead their career in engineering of various package systems such as refrigeration, compressed air, fuel gas system, boilers and rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors and turbines.

Entire training is carried out based on actual industrial assignments. Students will be occupied with a lot of home assignments to be completed over the week-ends.
