This section explores the structural foundations of layout design how designers use grid systems to unite text, images, and other page elements within an overall visual communication. Case studies explore how the masters constructed fluid designs on firm foundations. You'll learn how elements such as margins, markers, modules, and flowlines help to unify a page or spread. Then you'll examine applications for the common grid systems used by designers: manuscript grid, column grid, modular grid, and hierarchical grid. In the exercise, you'll apply these concepts to the design of a 4-page magazine spread.

Our defined curriculum is giving thorough knowledge of latest techniques of Pre Press & Post Press. The term "Pre-Press & Post-Press" used in the printing and publishing industries for the processes and procedures that occur between the procurement of a written manuscript and original artwork.

Print & Monitor Resolution, File Formats, Scanning Techniques, Post Script an Overview, PS vs PDF, Using PDF, Checking Print Files, Trapping and Overprinting, Colour Separations, Types of Dots, LPI, Paper Sizing, Printing Techniques, Costing Methods, Dealing with Service Bureau, Pre-Flighting, Post-Press-Folding's, Buildings, Laminations, Case Studies, and Portfolio Development.
