Professional Studio Pottery

Studio Pot Shots is a learning institution initiated by Anisha Gupta Jain, a professional potter who has been in the industry for the past few years. Here she teaches you different techniques of pottery- coil, slab work and wheel throwing. The studio has been constructed on the terrace of her house with glass windows on all four sides, overlooking the open sky on one and forest on the other. The different landscapes of the sky in winter and monsoon are not only beautiful but also fills one with a sense of infinite space; a space in which new ideas are born and can be explored. 
At Studio Pot Shots we believe that making pottery is a timeless occupation. It is the best stress buster present today and relaxes your mind completely. Pottery interests people because it has concerns that totally differ from other forms of expressions. The process of transformation from malleable mud to hard ceramic, the infinite variety of form that may be created and the wide range of technical variation that allows possibility of expression, is what makes pottery so different a form of art than others.
