Course programme
An interesting development in India in the recent years has been the impressive growth of manufacturing and services sector, small enterprises in smaller towns and cities, both in terms of number and production. It is high time that banks evolve suitable strategies to tap
the untapped business potential in semi-urban and urban areas. Apart from business potential, SME finance in urban and semi-urban segments also ensures diversification of SME loan portfolio. Given this perspective, sensitization of the BMs of semi-urban and
urban branches to the nuances of SME finance is a pre-requisite to tap this business potential. Against this backdrop, NIBM has taken the initiative to conduct the captioned programme.
