Short Term Programme in Computer Science & Applied Statistics

Objective

The purpose of launching the computer literacy program for the physical educationist and sports scientist in the country is to enhance their capability of functioning in their profession. This will facilitate these professionals to keep themselves abreast with the latest know-how in their profession. These training programs shall encourage the professionals to enhance their quality of research and will improve their functioning in the official settings.
About the program

The computer literacy program shall be implemented through two modules of computer training known as Level I and Level II. The first program Level I is meant for beginners, those who do not have any idea about the computers whereas Level II program is meant for the users of computers. The areas covered in these programs are as follows:

1. Level I includes computer fundamentals and MS-word, MS -PowerPoint, MS -Excel and Internet.
2. Level II includes web pages development through HTML, MS-Access and Internet.

These programs shall be of one week duration (Monday to Friday) with 6 hours daily.
