During last three decades the reluctance of MNC’s to introduce their products in India witnessed the emergence of era of reverse engineering Pioneered by some Indian companies. These Indian companies not only introduce their patented NCE’s in India but also succeeded in competing with original NCE’s globally. This has lead Indian companies to invest in upgrading their production and QC facilities to international standards, opening up new departments like quality assurance R&D in formulation and API, clinical trials and marketing.
