TANCET MCA

1. T.I.M.E. offers a comprehensive entrance training programme for TANCET MCA. T.I.M.E. analyses the TANCET paper and revises its material and advises students to take the right approach towards the exam. Every year the TANCET exam brings in a surprise by distributing different percentage of questions for the various sections. For instance, TANCET 2005 focussed on more number of questions from the reasoning area i.e., above 50 % of the questions were from the Reasoning area. But, in TANCET 2006, above 50% of the questions were from the Quantitative Ability area. In 2007, there were around 38 % of questions from each of the Quantitative Ability and the Reasoning areas. In all the above years, Computer Awareness took majority of the remaining percentage. So, students are advised to give equal importance to all major areas of testing which includes Quantitative Ability, Reasoning & Computer Awareness.

2. The study material consists of packets of separate booklets on Quantitative Ability, Pure Maths, Computers and Reasoning.

3. The classroom coaching will essentially start with the basics of every topic followed by discussion of the exercises in the Study Material. Students are given time and then unit tests are conducted topic-wise.

4. To give the students the real feel of the exam, T.I.M.E. conducts 10 All Tamilnadu Mock TANCET exams. State level Ranking is provided to gauge the performance of a student in the state.
