Skills in textile engineering can be collected in the basic labs like weaving lab, spinning lab, processing lab, testing lab, fabric structure and design lab etc,. Some labs as textile fashion design and garment technology, knitting technology, silk technology, textile CAD process control labs etc, are been developed recently. Students passing out of the department are being well placed in Garment Industries, Fashion Industries, composite mills, reputed textile production industries, institutions, research center, computer application units etc.
