TRAINING OF TRAINERS IN RADIOLOGICAL EMERGENCIES

This program aims at:
To teach Civil Defense and Home Guard volunteer in order to enable them of working as responder in the case of Radiological Emergency.
This program enables:
On completing this program the students will be enable to do the below mentioned:
: Understanding of Radiological Emergency & their consequence.
: To do the responder action and deconta-mination.
: Evaluating the requirement of the Shelters.
: To Operate radiation detection equipment and donning & doffing of P.P.E.
Curriculum:
: Radiation & Radioactive materials.
: Health Effect of Ionization & Radiation.
: Radiological weapon & their effect.
: Protections against Radiation & Safety practice.
: Organization of C.D service in Radiological Emergency.
: Assessments of Shelter protections.
: Improved individual and family shelters.
: Managing Shelter by Volunteer populations.
: Radiation Detection Procedure and instrument.
: Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E)
: Civil Defense Operation in Radiological emergency.
: Decontaminations: Gross & Technical

LEVEL OF PARTICIPANT
The program will be beneficial Civil Defense and Home Guard Trainer of various State involved in training against nuclear disaster. They must have done twelfth standard with science subject & have working awareness of Eng.
AGE-LIMIT : less than forty year.
