Description
‘Accuracy & Precision’ are the present day marketing slogans. To be accurate and precise quality of the material used in manufacturing process is a vital decisive factor. Procurement of such flawless material from the market is, from whomever good and reliable dealer he may be, always contingent. One has to make sure of its quality before processing the same. Though the manufacturing process is carried on in ultra modern environments, the defective material will spoil the game and jeopardize ones reputation with no fault in his sincere efforts.
To overcome the above embarrassing situation, one has to test the quality of material to be used in their processing. In conventional method, a part/piece of the material will have to be cut for testing purpose. In this method the portion of the material that undergone quality testing is lost or destructed once and for all.
To avoid such loss of material a new method has been invented which gives the accurate quality of the material as well as saves the tested material also. That method is NON DESTRUCTIVE TESTING. Simply called NDT.
