One-Year Diploma in Advanced Welding

Due to advancement in materials and fabrication, the demand for qualified welders has increased to a great extent. Keeping in mind the requirement for the industry IIWT has launched its new program named “one year diploma in advance welding”. This program is well suited for conventional/pulsed TIG welding. This program keeps strict check on the superiority of the process associated with the demand. More focus is made to look at the process and procedures to produce good welders from the institute. A proper method is followed to achieve the objective of the program. Hence, with more and more of practice a well-trained welder is able to acquire skills and procedures required for TIG welding.

The duration of the program is 12 months. Maximum of eight learners are there in a batch. The main topics covered by the program are – higher level training in SMAW, GTAW and GMAW process, selection and welding, problems associated with the process and its solutions, stringent check and testing, security measure, sources, kinds of welding, techniques, economies of welding.
