Yoga is an age-old art, science philosophy and practice. This is meant for physical, mental and spiritual upliftment. Yoga has a message for the human body, mind and the spirit. A healthy body is the prime requisite for success and happiness in life. The yogic practices help to keep the body healthy and fit as modern teacher has to be fit and fine, with this intention yoga course has been designed for B.Ed and E.C.C.E students. The objective of this course is to give positive health and personality development of the prospective teachers. A certificate course of 20 hours is being conducted three times in a week to stimulate internal and external body which results in healthy body, mind and soul. The college offers this yoga course for its student teachers which is conducted by a qualified yoga instructor.
