Course programme
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS ONLY A FRAMEWORK OF TOPICS FOR THE COURSE. THE TRAINING SCHEDULE IS TO BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE.
Anti-Corruption Regulation
Are you aware of the complexities of program implementation? (I)NGOs face a complex struggle in many project implementation processes between corruption on one side and anti-corruption laws on the other. Many situations related to corruption evolve over time and it is sometimes unclear whether it is question of corruption or “cultural habits”. In this course, you will understand the context of these contradicting situations, and learn the most efficient and progressive methods of dealing with them. You will gain awareness in this topic to be able to avoid and manage problematic situations in the future.
Budgeting and Monitor & Evaluation
Do you have a difficult time with budgeting? This course will introduce a comprehensive method for incomes, expenses, salaries, assets, and costs. In a team exercise, you will learn to develop a budget based on objectives, activities, and resources.
Project Risk Management
All projects have conditions such as time limits, budget allocations, and other specifications. You will understand the complexity of certain projects, and learn to best utilize the duration of your project. You may be confronted with insufficient resources or internal problems in the office or with partner organizations. This course will help you analyze the risk of your project and judge its success, and pinpoint the biggest threats to its efficiency.
