The department started with an annual sanctioned intake of 30 students and 4 faculties. The early efforts of the department were devoted to establishing stable and adequate infrastructure and laboratory facilities. This course being implemented by the ruling varsities have brought a new light in the curriculum of the software industry with bright syllabi and schedule which touches the necessities of the engineering and application sciences disciplines. Since the course is pertaining to modern technology, the response from students is overwhelming.
