Apart from providing training the MBBS students during their final year course in ENT, the department is recognized by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik for conducting MS (ENT) Course and by National Board of Examinations for DNB course. In addition the department conducts a six months post MS training in Cochlear Implantation, Head and Neck Surgery, Microsurgery of Ear and Larynx for young ENT Specialists of the Armed Forces. The department runs a four day temporal bone dissection course and live surgery workshop twice a year which is very popular. A six months course in Audiology and Speech Therapy for Para Medical Personnel is also conducted twice a year.
The college is authorized to conduct post graduate courses vide. GOI MOD letter no. 8510/ DGAFMS/ DG-1D/ 2273/ 2001/ D Med dated 05 Nov 01, as amended vide GOI MOD letter no. 8510/ DGAFMS/ DG-1D/ 2556/ D Med dated 02 Sep 04 and GOI MOD letter no. 8510/ DGAFMS/ DG-1D/ 3018/ D Med dated 15 Oct 04.
The vacancies for the above course is available to service officers only. However, any unutilized vacancy is available to civilians. The selection for filling these vacancies is based on an entrance examination.
