Course Details
Our hospitality and tourism management degree programme is designed to develop effective and innovative managers for the international hotel and restaurant industry of tomorrow. This programme offers flexibility and choice to individual students and at the same time ensures a vocationally relevant and academically rigorous programme of study. It provides the technical and managerial skills and knowledge necessary to secure appropriate employment on graduation. The terminal qualification is a BSc Honors Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the Oxford Brookes University. The Programme is not governed by the University Grant Commission (UGC), or the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
Learning Teaching Pedagogy: The mission of both Oxford Brookes University and IIMT is to provide excellence through experience. The Institute therefore uses a number of learning and teaching approaches to achieve this end and prepare students for life long learning. In addition to formal lectures, the programme makes use of seminars, guest lectures, business games, case studies, simulations and projects. Students will have the opportunity to develop their vocational and managerial skills using our state-of-the-art hospitality facilities. The Institute provides extensive IT resources, including access to industry specific software and the internet at both campuses. Lectures
