Course programme
The program lasts for 3-years. The classes are mainly held on Tuesdays and Fridays. Classes are taken by Mr Dhiresh Kumar Sharma. The classes are held in institute itself.
The contents of the course are as follows:
Theory:
Define and explain the terms:
(a) Sangit, Sangeet-Paddhati, Naada, Shrutii, Swarra, Sapttak, Thata, Layaa, Jati, Aroha, Avrroha, Baajj-ka-Tar, Joree-ka-taar, Razaakhani Gatt, Masitkhani Gatt.
(b) Explanation of the Ragas given.
(c) Information of Pandit Vishnu Narayan Bhatkhande and Pandit Vishnu Digambar Paluskar Notation systems.
Practical:
(a) Exact placing of fingers on the instrument, revision of playing 10 easy Alannkars on the instruments.
(b) Layaa-Gyyan and revision of playing Allankars in Ekgoon and Doogun layakarys
