Five-Year Integrated M.A. English

The Five-Year Integrated M.A.Course is designed to prepare students for careers as scholars and professionals. The course is spread over 10 semesters. It provides a wide choice of traditional, contemporary and a variety of specialisations within the discipline. This course is open to those who have completed Intermediate or its equivalent. A student has the option to quit the course after the second year and obtain a diploma. If he leaves the course after three years he will get a Bachelors Degree. Four years of study will entitle him to an Honours Degree and Five years M.A.Degree. A noteworthy feature of the course is that it accommodates Dravidian literatures in English translation while elsewhere Indian Writing is limited to Indian writing in English.
