The Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (RQF) formerly known as DTLLS, is suitable for those who are in a teaching or training role and wish to obtain a degree level qualification. It is also suitable for trainee teachers as well as those who have experience in a teaching role. This qualification will also allow the individual to apply for Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status.
Learners must be aged 19+ years to be enrolled onto this course. You must be in a training or teaching role to be able to complete this course. You should also be competent in literacy and numeracy to help with elements of communication. If you are unable to evidence a GCSE pass in English and Maths, or Level 2 equivalent, you may be asked to complete a diagnostic assessment in English and Maths to meet the minimum core requirements.
