Ph.D. (Dairying) in Dairy Technology

The department of Dairy Technology is one of the four major departments of Sheth M.C. College of Dairy Science, which was established in 1961 at the then Institute of Agriculture; Anand as a grant-in-aid Institution with the objective of training students in the field of Dairy Technology to provide technically trained persons to the growing dairy industry of the state as well as of the nation. With the formation of Gujarat Agricultural University, in the year 1972, the college of Dairy Science was elevated to the Status of a faculty with the additional responsibility of post-graduate teaching, research and extension activities. In the year 1977 the Department started offering post-graduate studies leading to M.Sc. (Dairying) and Ph.D. (Dairying) in Dairy Technology.
