Diploma in Personnel Management

This is a two-year, part-time, professional programme of instruction and training leading to the Diploma in Personnel Management. This course is meant for those whose careers are otherwise blocked for want of suitable professional qualification. Conducted at the Mumbai Campus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, by the School of Management and Labour Relations, the course will be found useful by those who seek careers at the executive and supervisory levels in the Personnel/ Administration Departments of industrial organisations.

The classes are held at the Institute's premises at Deonar on weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m., except on public holidays.

Course Outline:
The total credit hours for the Diploma in Personnel Management programme is 44 as detailed below:
-16 papers of 2 credit hours each = 32 credit hours
-Field Work (8 weeks) and 2 Field Work Assignments = 12 credit hours
