PG Diploma in Environmental Law

This course would introduce the vast field of environmental law and policy. The objective of the programme is to familiarize the participants with the evolution and implementation of environmental laws, constitutional and legislative provisions and judicial remedies. The advantages and disadvantages of the environmental laws, rules, regulations, notifications and policies will also be examined.
Candidates who complete the course can open up consultancies; those who are lawyers can take up practice in environmental law. It is useful to environment activists. There will be a need for such diploma holders in NGO's, industries, hospitals, pollution control boards, ministry of environments. Candidates having these diplomas will have an edge over others, in the above jobs.
