COURSE ASSESSMENT

We send the full course out with the units listed above, you then read through the course in your own time and complete the assignments which you send to your tutor for marking. There is no word count for these assignments. However, one sentence answers will be rejected and you will have to re-submit it for marking.

Upon verification of the activities, exercises and assignments, a certificate of achievement will be awarded by NCFE & EDL, as confirmation that your written work has met all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for the programme.

We recommended you spend approximately 360 hours of your time studying for the Event Management course. The pace of study is completely up to you. To give an example, if you dedicate 7 hours a week to the course it would take you a year to complete but if you could spare 14 hours a week you could complete it in six months.

All Students must be 16 years of age or above. Students must have completed 10+2 in any stream or equivalent.

EDL Professional Diploma in Event Management

This is a dual certification course. Successful Learners will be awarded an international qualification from NCFE and a professional Award from your college EDL. Fees for both are included in the course fee.

Events Manager
As an events manager, you would be responsible fororganising and running all kinds of promotional, corporate and social events. You would control the whole project, frominitial planning, making sure that all elements come together on schedule,to running the event on the day. Your job would typically include: client management creating original and innovative ideas for events agreeing budgets and timescales with the client researching venues, contacts and suppliers negotiating prices with suppliers and contractors booking venues, entertainment and any necessary equipment and supplies hiring and supervising contractors such as caterers and security marketing and publicising the event making sure that everything runs smoothly on the day ensuring that health and safety and insurance regulations are followed managing a team Depending on the organisation you might specialise in organising a particular type of event, such as parties and weddings, exhibitions and conferences, advertising product launches, or fundraising events.
