The University of Delhi offers Post Grad. Diploma in Dermatology to its students. The course is offered by the Department of Dermatology & Venereology.Department has fully equipped outpatient department which offers treatment services in the field of Dermatology, STD and Leprosy. Separate outpatient clinics function daily for Skin, STD and Leprosy patients it caters to an average 600 patients per day. Minor OT services are also available daily, which include electric & chemical cautery, intra-lesional injections and skin biopsy etc. The department has in-patient care facilities. Two wards (separate for males, females and children) with a total strength of 51 beds exist. . It also runs a full- fledged operation theatre twice a week where in different minor and major dermatological surgeries (including mini punch grafting for vitiligo, excision of growths, nerve biopsies, nail surgeries, cryosurgery etc.) are being carried out.

The department has a fully equipped seminar cum teaching hall with state of the art audio-visual facility. Computer facility equipped with multi media and scanner is available. Departmental Library, with latest books on Skin, STD & Leprosy is available. The department also runs weekly afternoon special clinics Wednesday: Vitiligo, PUVA and Allergy clinics Friday: Cosmetology, Dermatological Surgery and PUVA clinics
