The curriculum of the one-year Post Graduate course in Advertising and Public Relations at SACAC has been designed to equip the students with the skills required in the field. The Diploma course Advertising & Public Relations covers key aspects of the subject such creative visualization, theories of communication, principles of advertising, core marketing concepts and brand management models, advertising strategy, market research media planning, Public Relations and Corporate Communications. Workshops and case studies are used to impart to students a deeper perspective and insight into all aspects of the subject. The course in Public Relations targets to give the students a feel of the real work with mock Press Conference workshops, case studies by practitioners in the field. The Advertising & Public Relations diploma students are also trained in presentation skills and business communication and life skills such as stress management, self-awareness, teamwork and leadership.
